## Underlying Infrastructure Security

Kittenswap is built on [Algebra Finance](https://docs.algebra.finance/algebra-integral-documentation/), a battle-tested AMM infrastructure that powers 50+ DEXes across EVM chains with over \$150 billion in cumulative trading volume. As the 8th most forked DEX protocol on DeFiLlama, Algebra provides the robust foundation for our exchange.

Inherited security from audited MIT contracts.

External audits - if any audits will be taking place, we will ensure clear transparency on which auditor, which ensures the community is well informed in advanced.

Ownership of proxy contracts will be transferred to the TimelockController contract once all set up has been completed - from there any upgrades or owner-related functions will be executed through the TimelockController contract.

The current delay is 1 minute and will change to 24 hours after initial transfer ownership set up for proxy contracts.
